Department Introduction

The Department of Neurosurgery of Foresea Yihe International Medical Center focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of major diseases such as brain tumors, cerebrovascular diseases, craniocerebral injuries and spinal cord lesions. The department is equipped with internationally cutting-edge medical equipment, such as stereotactic radiation therapy (gamma knife) and Transcranial Magnetic Resonance Image Guided Focused Ultrasound (magnetic wave knife) systems, which can effectively respond to various critical and severe diseases, common and difficult neurological diseases.

2.1 Scope of diagnosis and treatment
The department provides comprehensive diagnostic and treatment services, including emergency and critical craniocerebral trauma management, intracranial tumor surgery, cerebrovascular interventional procedures, and neuroendoscopic surgery. It also offers functional neurosurgical procedures for epilepsy, Parkinson’s disease, chronic pain syndromes, hemifacial spasm, and diabetic neuropathy.

Sellar region lesions (transsphenoidal), surgery of tumors of the cranial base, Functional Neurosurgery (deep brain stimulation, microvascular decompression), carotid endarterectomy, interventional treatment of spinal vascular malformations, endovascular treatment of ischemic stroke, embolization of cerebral arteriovenous malformations and embolization of intracranial aneurysms.
