Department Introduction

The Hematology Department of Foresea Yihe International Medical Center is the most powerful blood disease diagnosis and treatment center in Zengcheng District. It has general wards, transplant rooms, blood clinics and hematology laboratories.

The department is a unit of the Hematology Alliance of the First Affiliated Hospital, Sun Yat-sen University. The medical team members are all from large domestic tertiary hospitals and graduated from well-known universities such as Sun Yat-sen University and Southern Medical University. They have rich clinical experience and superb medical skills. They carry out standardized and precise diagnosis and treatment of various blood malignancies, and currently have carried out autologous hematopoietic stem cell transplantation for malignant blood diseases.

1) Diagnosis and Treatment Scope
The department's treatment scope includes various acute and chronic leukemias, plasma cell neoplasms (multiple myeloma, plasma cell leukemia, etc.), malignant lymphoma, myelodysplastic syndrome, myeloproliferative neoplasms (such as polycythemia vera, essential thrombocythemia, primary myelofibrosis, eosinophilic leukemia, etc.), chronic myelomonocytic leukemia, coagulation disorders (such as thrombocytopenia, hemophilia, DIC and thrombophilia, etc.), anemias (such as aplastic anemia, iron deficiency anemia, hemolytic anemia, secondary anemia, paroxysmal nocturnal hemoglobinuria, etc.)

The Hematology Department carries out hematopoietic stem cell transplantation, apheresis (hematopoietic stem cell collection, platelet and red blood cell removal and plasma exchange) and CAR-T cell therapy, targeted therapy for malignant blood diseases and diagnostic technology of various malignant blood diseases (peripheral blood cell morphology, examination of bone marrow, flow cytometry, gene and chromosome,etc).
