On October 25th, the 5th Cross-Strait International Medical and Special Needs Services Development Conference, the 16th High-End Medical Services and Construction Seminar, and the 2024 National Continuing Education Course were held in Shanghai. This year's conference focused on the theme of "Promoting International Medical Standards and Co-Creating a New Chapter for Medical-Tourism Integration," with multi-layered and multidimensional discussions.

The conference was filled with exciting content, gathering government departments from across the country, experts and scholars, international colleagues, and insurance institutions. Zhu Peixuan, Vice President of Foresea Life Insurance Guangzhou General Hospital and Head of Foresea Yihe International Medical Center, was invited to attend the conference and delivered a keynote speech titled "Empowering Premium Healthcare Services with Insurance Capital, Promoting the Development of International Medical Services through Medical-Insurance Linkages—The Steady Development Path of Foresea Yihe International Medical Center." She, along with other participants, discussed the innovative models and development paths of empowering international medical services with insurance capital, contributing wisdom and strength to the high-quality development of international medical services.

New building of Foresea Yihe International Medical Center
Zhu Peixuan further introduced that the new building of Foresea Yihe International Medical Center is soon to be put into use. With a floor area of 120,000 square meters, it includes outpatient services, premium health screenings, and 600 beds in private inpatient suites. It will become the largest high-end medical area in a domestic tertiary general hospital. In addition to providing high-quality comprehensive medical services, the center will also feature specialties such as premium maternity and obstetric care center, rehabilitation, longevity medicine, and oncology nutrition & metabolic care departments, aiming to offer a one-stop health management and general medical service combining professional, customized premium health screenings, full-cycle diagnosis and treatment, and comprehensive health management.
On the eve of the conference, October 24th, the second Cross-Strait Medical and Health Exchange Association International Medical and Special Needs Services Professional Committee held its re-election, and Zhu Peixuan was re-elected as the vice-chairperson.
