Specialized in the diagnosis and treatment of complex and severe oral and maxillofacial trauma, head and neck oncologic surgery, orthognathic surgery, reconstruction of maxillofacial bone defects, cleft lip and palate repair, temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorders, and oral mucosal diseases.
Dr. Zhang has obtained two national invention patents, participated in the compilation of three monographs, contributed to one national textbook, and published over 20 academic papers.
Additionally, Dr. Zhang has supervised 10 master's degree candidates, and led two scientific research projects.
