Dr. Zhang specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of refractory otitis media, aural tumors, congenital external and middle ear malformations, and otologic microsurgery; medical and surgical treatment of Ménière's disease, facial nerve disorders, vestibular disorders, and vestibular schwannomas (acoustic neuromas), as well as lateral skull base surgery.
He also has expertise in neonatal hearing screening, diagnosis and management of hearing loss, hearing aid fitting, and various hearing restoration surgeries, including artificial ossicular chain reconstruction, bone-anchored hearing aids (BAHA), Vibrant Soundbridge implantation, and cochlear implantation; pediatric hearing impairments, pediatric sleep-disordered breathing, speech and language developmental disorders, and various congenital ENT conditions.
Additionally, he specializes in endoscopic sinus surgery for nasal and paranasal sinus diseases, laryngeal microsurgery for laryngeal and voice disorders, and the diagnosis and both medical and surgical management of obstructive sleep apnea (OSA).
